UNA SANCTA IN VINCULIS

regional ecumenical church day,
monastery church,
Kloster Fürstenfeld

The titel UNA SANCTA IN VINCULIS of the installation for the regional ecumenical church day in the monastery church of Fürstenfeld quotes the Jesuit priest Alfred Delp, who was arrested 1944 by the Gestapo, awaiting trial in the Tegel prison and executed on February 2 1945 in Berlin–Plötzensee. The Jesuit Delp, the Protestant theologian E. Gerstenmauer, the Prostestant H. J. Graf von Moltke and the Catholic Fugger von Glött formed secretly an ecumenical prisoner community that Delp called “Una Sancta in vinculis” – the one holy church in chains.
